Houses of Defiance

A meal is served, we gather in the living room, welcoming everyone, we give thanks, we engage the Scriptures, prayers are offered, closing with the Lord’s prayer and doxology.

Currently we have two House Churches meeting on every other Tuesday from 5:30-7pm.

Bema Podcast Discussion

Meets every other Thursday at 6pm in New Castle to discuss episodes from the Bema Podcast. Meal provided.

Schools of Defiance

Throughout the year we do full church book studies. This Spring is Till We Have Faces by CS Lewis.

  • The work of Jesus was not a new set of ideals or principles for reforming or even revolutionizing society, but the establishment of a new community, a people that embodied forgiveness, sharing and self-sacrificing love in its rituals and discipline. In that sense, the visible church is not to be the bearer of Christ’s message, but to be the message.
